Sega wants to know your recipe for revenge in a Hell Yeah! contest

If you’re having trouble wiling away the hours until Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is finally available for download, Sega has announced a solution that will help you test your writing skills…and your thirst for vengeance.

Following in the sinful footsteps of Hell Yeah’s protagonist Ash, Sega would like you to write out, in 500 words or less, your best idea of a devious revenge scenario. Of course, they want your entries to remain playful in nature, and to refrain from naming any actual people.

While this contest already sounds pretty fun, I’ve got to say the Hell Yeah! prize pack really makes this thing worth while. It includes a limited edition Ash statue (!!!), a Hell Yeah! t-shirt, and a free copy of the game. The contest is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada, and entries will be accepted until September 10th.

Hit the jump to see all the rules and details. Anybody already drumming up their best revenge ideas?

  1. Why are awesome contests like this always north american exclusive? Where is Sega Europe when you need them? Or yeah, they against extinction.

    • Actually, it is exclusive to US (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec), so Europe is unfortunately out of the running.
