You wouldn’t know it by the reveal trailer you see above, but Doublefine recently confirmed at PAX 2012 that their new game with Sega and the legendary Ron Gilbert will indeed be coming to Nintendo’s looming HD console, the Wii U.
While this news is hardly unexpected (considering the projected launch of both the game and the console), it’s exciting nonetheless. I get a very Lost Winds-ish feel from everything we’ve seen so far, and the dark yet whimsical visual style looks like it would fit in perfectly with Nintendo’s unique sense of character.
