For those who have not yet experienced one of the more insane “shmups,” Ikaruga is now available on Android devices. Ikaruga has been on a few other things since the Dreamcast, including GameCube and XBLA. One way you’ll be able to spot someone playing this game on their Android phone is if you suddenly hearing random cursing on the subway and find that it belongs to someone convulsing in anger over their phone. Those who have played Ikaruga know what I’m talking about, and if you don’t, well for $9 you can dive right in.
