First of all, a big thank you to everyone who entered and contributed to this contest. I can honestly say that the amount and quality of work surpassed all of our expectations. Narrowing the entries down to just 10 winners was no easy task and it took nearly all of yesterday for us to produce this final list of winners. Luckily, Sega has agreed to provide 10 Jet Set Radio lanyards for the 10 runners-up so we are able to reward a few more of you for your hard work. In addition, we will be creating a gallery of all the entries that will likely be posted on the official Sega Facebook page.

I hear ya, but we can’t all win. I’m just glad that something this awesome got me off my butt to start drawing after a 10-year hiatus.
This was incredibly difficult to judge–EVERYONE’s entries were fantastic! Whether you’re winners or not, we really appreciate how many of you came and put the work into entering. Your hard work and dedication is really humbling.

i swear this is like the tenth time i’ve tried to win one of these damnable hoodies. i’m not going to waste time or effort anymore. it’s just not meant to be.
I fell the same way dude after drawing 21 hand drawn pictures and spending all that time on deviantart muro coloring then in I fell like I wasted 3 weeks just to get a slap in the face 🙁 but what can you do ? at the end of the day the right people won for there amazing Photoshop skills
Absolutely, if I’d known we just had to use ms paint i’dve saved a lot of time and money!
What’s the big issue against digital art? Both traditional and digital art require time and ability. I learned to paint with Oils and Acrylics before knowing what digital paint was supposed to mimic.
It all comes down to creating art. Anyways, maybe next time huh? I didn’t win either 😉
I couldn’t agree more, Stooball! We weren’t biased at all on the “traditional vs digital” aspect, we just chose the ones that appealed to us the most. Heck, even though I color my drawings digitally, they’re all still sketched with Bic pencils. 😛
For anyone that didn’t win, don’t get discouraged! I lose contests all the time, but as long as have fun and get a piece of art I’m happy with, it’s still a victory in its own right. ^__^
