I’m pretty confident any kid who had a remote-controlled car growing up always had that crazy idea to attach a video camera and explore the world with it. Well, Portuguese hardware hacker Luis Sobral has put that theory to work and succeeded with the help of a Sega Rally arcaded cabinet. With some tiny cameras, some PVC piping, and a whole lot of robotics know-how, Sobral was able to make an arcade game where you control an RC car from the comfort of the Sega Rally Championship seat. A further look at the process can been seen on Sobral’s website, or you can enjoy the video above for a more condensed version with some awesome Anamanaguchi playing in the background.
