I may reference the 90s a bit too much in general, but man were they simpler times. No I take that back, they were more XTREME TIMES. Ahem, anyway, the video above is taken from a Canadian kids show called The Gravity Room. The video starts with Nintendo-related topics before the host visits Sega of America back in 1996, when Sonic X-Treme was still in production. At around the 3:44 mark, you can watch the host playing a boss battle against Metal Sonic. The game looks pretty decent, and brings a tear to my eye that it never saw the light of day. Also in the video are snipits of NiGHTS into Dreams, and Mr. Bones. Anyone else get a little choked up thinking about what could have been? Reassure me that I’m not the only one in the comments below.
