Sega has announced a new update for Phantasy Star Online 2 in Japan titled “Destroyer of History.” This update will include:
- A new area based on ruins of a past civilization for players level 25 or higher
- Brand new enemies and a new boss character
- A new item called the ExCube which is gained by gaining experience after receiving the level cap. This item can then be exchanged for certain in-game items.
- A new shop for exchanging Photon drops
It’s great to see Sega continuing to update and support PSO2. With the success it’s been in Japan, I can’t wait to see how the game fares in the West next year.
