People seem to have fairly mixed opinions on Sonic Colors — some people think it’s the first acceptable 3D Sonic game, others think Sonic still has a long way to go. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, there seems to be a general consensus that the music of the game was very good (excluding the song in the video above).
Great news for us then since the entire 82 song, 3 disk soundtrack “Vivid Sound x Hybrid Colors“ is apparently now out on iTunes! At least that’s what the Sonic City Blognik is saying. I did a quick search of the iTunes store and turned up nothing. This might be because I live in Canada, or it could be the case that Sonic City jumped the gun a little bit, but at the time of writing it seems unavailable.
When it is available songs are going for $1.29 (£0.99) a piece while each disk costs $9.99 (£7.99). There doesn’t seem to be any future plans for a Western physical release like Japan gets, but the post alludes to the possibility of other game soundtracks coming to iTunes if this venture is successful.
