Not too long ago, Sega had announced that the Total War series was going mobile and now there’s an official announcement for the first mobile title of the very successful franchise: “Total War Battles: Shogun” is coming to iOS and Android devices. It’s not a PC-port and has been specifically designed for those platforms, which is always a good sign. According to the press release, “An enormous depth of tactical gameplay awaits, with a 10-hour plus campaign, bonus challenge missions and a shared-screen head-to-head multiplayer mode.” Sure sounds like the full package to me! The game hits the appstores on April 19th, which is surprisingly soon. Find the full press release after the jump!

This looks pretty interesting, but also like a $5.99+ game. If it’s over 2.99 i’m thinking it’ll tank.
I’m very curious how this does actually, when I think IOS title, it’s usually a pickup and play, not campaign.
